
The camping area itself
The Campsite is 6 hectares of spacious pitches and open areas surrounded by woodland. 60 pitches have water and 10 amp electricty hookups and for the wild campers there are 20 large pitches spread over 2 hectares. Separate ladies and gents shower and toilet facilities with a disabled shower and toilet next to the laundry room and dish washing area. Mobile homes and fully equipped rental tents are available for rent. Daily bread deliveries are made during high season.

Surrounding area of Champ de la Chapelle
This is an area famous as 'la France profonde' or deep France as this idyllic region, unspoilt by mass tourism, is known Rich in both scenery and history, chateaux, abbeys and medieval towns and villages are only a short drive away. The local town, Saint Bonnet Tronçais, has shops, bar, pizzaria and a doctors surgery as well as a swimming lake with sandy beach. There are also a number of excellent restaurants to be found locally. For the more adventurous holiday makers, horse riding, kayaking and zip wires are on offer in the surrounding area. The region is also renowed for the quality of its rivers and lakes for angling. Medieval fetes, car and air shows, brocantes and local markets are great fun and can be found across the region.
